I have more than 4 years of experience as a book cover designer, and during this time I also managed to fully illustrate several books (they are available on Amazon) and make a dozen illustrated book covers. I completed courses in digital painting, character creation, and illustration of children's books.
Among the interesting facts, I can tell you that I adore pickled tomatoes, grow almost everything I eat from seeds, love giant sweaters and hugging dogs. I cry at sad cartoons and believe that good will always triumph over evil.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- How long do I have to wait for my order?
With all amendments, the order time can vary from 3 to 5 days. I always try to make orders as fast as I can, but as practice shows, fast rarely means quality. When you draw one illustration for a long time, you start to overlook small flaws that are better corrected with a fresh eye.
- What is the cost of an illustration?
The minimum price of an illustration is $50, but it can vary. It’s impossible to name one price for all illustrations because it depends on the style, level of detail, number of characters, background, and many other things. We discuss the price of each drawing with the customer after agreeing on the sketches. If it’s a series of drawings or an illustrated book, the client gets a special discount offer.
- Do you redesign book covers?
Yes, of course. If you have an old cover and you want to make it more expressive, brighter, or just improve it or change the look completely, I will be happy to help you.
- Is it possible to draw a portrait of myself?
Of course! I will draw a stylized portrait of you, your couple, family, friends, or your beloved dog. Once I’m done, I send you a print-ready, high-resolution file that you can print yourself on a card, poster, t-shirt, or wherever your imagination takes you.
- What about copyright?
No. All the illustrations you see here are unique and drawn by me. If we are talking about a design using stock photos (it will be cheaper), then I still have licenses to use all the pictures I use.
